I think Paula is a very compelling woman with many stories and accounts to tell. However I get a strong sense that as an acting member of the Jewish police courtesy of Chaim Rumkowski and the Judenrat she too was an arm of Nazi will and rule on Jews trying to survive with all of "them" controlling and acting against them for whatever reasons she and they would claim to hang their hats. Never forget the horrific deportation of children under 9 (infant babies too) to Chelmo death camp by organization of Chaim Rumkowski's Judenrat and Ghetto police of which Paula herself was one. She tells a story of being present when one mother refused to give up her little girl and was warned if she refused she would be shot. So Paula (apparently standing beside her at the time) tells her interviewer that the woman was shot dead and her daughter sent to Chelmo to be murdered with the other child victims. I have always believed that a guilty person tells you some elements of the truth and will leave out parts or conceal them to preserve themselves as complicit with a crime. My feeling is Paula did this as well. Just a feeling. .a strong intuition.
